- I’m starting to feel some soreness in my left thigh (
IT band problem perhaps?), and what feels like
anterior shin splints. I need to increase my stretching routine, and maybe get new shoes. Was at Luke’s Locker last night, and consulted with one of the Coaches about my shoes/leg pain and it may be time to switch out for a new pair of running shoes.

heya — a question for the running expert. when i hamster on the treadmill, i set it on ~ 5.5 mph. now being a non-outdoor running type, if i actually wanted to feel as if i was running a 10 min mile do i really set it on 6 mph or is the treadmill actually a different reality, i.e. is how accurate a relfection of mph is the treadmill? if this question makes no sense, it’s because i’ve had 3 glasses of wine followed by a 3 inches of johnny walker black on the rocks.
I wondered that myself. I usually hamster…hehe I like that… at 6mph assuming that I’m doing 10 min/miles but it always seems faster.
