On October 30th, Houston’s Astroworld is closing its doors to make room for condos and other “developments.” Although I’ve only been there three times, I’m going to miss it….like the Astrodome, Astroworld is an indelible Houston landmark. It’s going to feel so strange not seeing the Texas Cyclone and Dungeon Drop tower amidst the 610 South Loop landscape.

Ageed! I’ve lived here all my life and remember going to Astroworld as a kid during the summer with friends and family. I can’t disagree with the decision, I hope 6 flags considers a theme park on cheaper real estate out in the “boonies” somewhere!
