		<description>When the Garmin loses signal, it extrapolates a straight line between where it got the last signal and where it picked up again.  Thus, the perfect straight line. 
 
So, like if  you go under a bridge or something, it will record the last point and the point where you exit the underpass, even if you run around in circles for 10 miles under the bridge, it will just say that you went from point a in a straight line to point B in the amount of time that acutually lapsed.  So, the pace would be SLOOOOOOW!

		<description>The Houston-Austin thing is really weird.  You can't get a GPS signal in a bag -- the watch has to have line-of-sight to the satellites!</description>
